Hi there!
My name is Yuanrui Li and I'm an Interaction x Industrial Designer currently building my own design practice as a senior UX designer at Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden, working across digital and physical experiences.
I'm always interested in observing how technology and people impact and adapt to each other, also I like to build prototypes to explore possibilities among them.
I believe there are three factors that could make great design happen: "communicating with empathy, the patience for iterations, and the courage to jump into the unknown."
From a few years ago, I’ve been able to explore this in a sensor-tech startup called sweetzpot, supporting our own product development and clients with UI/UX development, Industrial design, branding, and packaging.
Prior to this, I got my master's degree at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design in Norway, interned at Philips Design in the Netherlands, and exchanged to Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden. Before my study in Scandinavia, I worked as an industrial designer and design manager in one of the best-known Chinese design consultancy in Shenzhen, and had the pleasure of working in a variety of sectors, from healthcare, home appliance, professional equipment, FMCG, and consumer electronics. Served clients like Siemens, Wrigley, Dunhill, Spacelabs, and Midea.
I’m always happy to talk about new challenges and opportunities. You can drop me a line at hi.liyuanrui@gmail.com or on LinkedIn.
